Pink Floyd Set to Release its First Album in 20 Years

Twenty long years have passed since the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd came up with their last album, The Division Bell in 1994. The band is set to release their newest album this year.

Only a month and a half away from now, the new Floyd album called The Endless River consisting of never heard before, unreleased tracks is going to be launched this fall, in the month of October. The news was first announced by Musician David Gilmour’s wife when she tweeted about it and surprised the fans around the world with the happy news. It was later confirmed by Gilmour’s representative that the album was actually going to come out this winter.

We have also heard some interesting things about the new album. It’s said to have tracks that were recorded during The Division Bell sessions but were not released at the time. Funnily enough, the album is also said to have been a side project back in 1994, and was titled as The Big Spliff. Ahem ahem. It mostly consists of ambient instrumental music.
