Van Gogh Room

Spend a Starry Night in this Room Inspired by a Van Gogh Painting

The Art Institute of Chicago has put together a room inspired by Van Gogh’s painting, Bedroom in Arles. Built to promote an exhibition called Van Gogh’s Bedrooms that starts at the museum on the 14th February until 10th of May, the room has been publicised on the official Facebook page of the museum. Van Gogh Room

Visitors won’t be allowed to sleep in the room but they can still go delve into the dreamy world of the Dutch painter. The room is listed on Airbnb, costs a mere $10 and has an attached bathroom along with it all. A person can bring another friend to spend some time in this wonderful piece of art. Needless to say, there are no dates available in February. But the museum promises reservations will soon be opened once again. Vincent Van Gogh's Room

The description of the room has been written by the museum as if Vincent Van Gogh had written it himself, “I’m charging $10 for no other reason than that I need to buy paint. However, I will be happy to provide you with tickets to my exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago.” Please let us know where to put our names.
